Carbon fiber is a new type of fiber material with a carbon content of over 95% and high strength and modulus. It has the characteristics of high hardness, high strength, light weight, high chemical resistance, and high temperature resistance. At the same time, it also has electrical and thermal conductivity and designability, which can be used to develop more new materials.
Introduction to unidirectional pre impregnated fiberglass cloth
Glass fiber cloth is first made of glass fiber raw fabric, which undergoes high-temperature dewaxing treatment. Then, it is soaked in epoxy resin at a uniform and uniform speed, and dried in a drying oven at a high temperature of 100-120 degrees Celsius. It is then wrapped with PE film and rolled up to make the fabric. The following are the core features and structural characteristics:
Unidirectional reinforcement design
Only continuous glass fiber bundles in the 0 ° or 90 ° direction are retained, and the weft fibers are fixed by polyester thread stitching to ensure axial (radial or weft) high-strength characteristics.
Lightweight and high specific strength
The density is only 1/4 of steel, and the tensile strength can reach over 800MPa (such as PP based prepreg with 60% fiberglass content).
Wide compatibility of resin
Support epoxy resin (thermosetting) and thermoplastic resin matrices such as PP, PA, PEEK, etc., to meet different curing process requirements.
